Are these Tweets for real?!
Absolutely. We’re only linking to celebrity Twitter accounts which have either been verified by the celebrities themselves or their representatives. If you think there is a celebrity Twitter account up here in error, let us know!
Are you affiliated with Celebrity X?!!?!
No. We are not affiliated or connected to any of the celebrities aggregated here in anyway, except as fans and followers on Twitter. Please do not send us fan mail or ask us to have Greg Grunberg give you a call or read your mind.
Are you affiliated with Twitter!?!
No. We love what the folks over at Twitter have done, but other than using parts of their API and XML feeds, we are not affiliated in anyway with Twitter.
Are you affiliated with the human race??!!
Yes. We are in fact living, breathing fans of television, music, movies and internet technologies. While our backend is a cold, heartless machine, we as humans still feed this monster its data cookies and maintain the lists of celebrities we aggregate.
Why don’t you have Tweets from Celebrity X on here??!?
Lots of reasons. Maybe they aren’t really the ones updating the Twitter account bearing their name. Maybe we just haven’t discovered or confirmed the existence of their celebrity Twitter account yet! Maybe we just don’t like them. But if you know of a real, living, breathing celebrity (A, B, C or D-list at least, please), do shoot a tweet over to @celebwitter and let us know!
How are you doing this and is it legal?!!
With a modified WordPress installation, Theme and a handful of powerful open-source plugins. We’re only aggregating publicly posted information from Twitter.com. Before anyone’s content reaches our servers, the owners have agreed to a myriad of legal disclaimers over there, which down the line allows us to plug-into and organize publicly available images and content. All content we repost includes links back to their origin at Twitter.com.
