The legendary David Lynch (b. January 20, 1946 in Missoula, Montana) is an American director, screenwriter, producer, painter, cartoonist, composer, video and performance artist, known for, among many things, legendary films such as The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire. Along with his films, Lynch also co-created, produced and directed the television series Twin Peaks (a personal favorite).
